Unidentified flying objects became a real fascination as a science fiction creation in comic books and movies right after the dawning of the 20th century. Most people think that the first UFO sightings took place in the year 1947 with the crash at Area 51. There were previous reports of strange objects spied in the skies even before Orville and Wilbur right took off in the Kitty Hawk.

The earliest photographic evidence that UFO crafts were indeed flying about overhead was in the 1920’s when a traditional flying saucer shape was caught on sepia film in rural Washington State. The alien craft phenomenon is a topic of great debate, steeped in myth, conspiracy theories and much debunking by the powers that be.

Once the thought that this constantly reoccurring event seems to be gaining a wider audience and UFO sightings increasing at alarming rates, looking into the matter with an open mind you find that orbs, saucers, discs and bullet shaped crafts have been a part of human civilization back into the mists of time. This is no some modern make believe affair. If that were the case at hand, you would not find unidentified flying objects in ancient carvings, texts, plaster friezes, masterpiece oil paintings of religious scenes that were all created hundreds to thousands of years before humanity figured out how to take flight.

What is even more astounding is the discovery that an ex-NASA scientist found that the Book of Ezekiel tells his story of a space craft landing in front of him. The story of Ezekiel’s Wheel tells of God visiting Ezekiel on Earth, John Blumrich can see that his descriptions were describing how modern space travel rockets and shuttles are built and go through their motions. Not only did this aeronautical engineer right a book, “The Spaceships of Ezekiel’ some 30 years ago, but his paper on the subject and his finding was published in a journal of science. Then he went on to design a spacecraft from the information gained from this book in the Bible and patented his work.

The ancient Celtic mythology tells that the most powerful Druid, Dagda, arrived on the Emerald Isle in a ship that sailed in from the skies. There are several different types of airships found in the carvings of ancient Sumeria and also in Egypt. These are not misinterpretations but the clear artistic images of machines that fly through the air, in an era that they didn’t have the technology to build such a thing.

The painting, ‘The Baptism of Christ’ from the 16th century shows a very clear and massive disc shaped craft hovering not far overhead and providing a great deal of light for this sacred event. Surely, science fiction buffs and lunatic fringe egged on by major television network programming and Hollywood scripts weren’t influencing people in the 1500’s. UFO sightings are not something new; they have been in the skies over Earth and landing among man since the days that God walked here too.

Perhaps, we should not be so surprised at the Vatican’s announcement that they will now study the possibility that extraterrestrials do indeed exist. The Church is prepared to accept their existence along with their advanced technology in creating a craft like the UFO that can move faster than any human could live through the thrust of … without exhaust mucking up the heavens or making any sound at all.
