2012 Pole Shift

The proponents of the reappearance of Nibiru tell us that when the missing planet reenters the solar system it could cause Earth to physically flip or drastically change the location of the poles by up to 40 degrees abruptly. Whether or not Nibiru will return is yet to be determined. It is indeed true that magnetic North shifts a few degrees constantly. Our concept that the pole is fixed is an error. Between 1831 and 2001, the North Pole has shifted quite dramatically, in a gradual motion not discerned by the population at large.

From the legends of ancient cultures and discoveries in polar ice and throughout the world in geological and archaeological digs we have proof that the poles have not only shifted dramatically in the past, but also have flipped completely. Scientists have stated that we are overdue for a major polar realignment making the 2012 pole shift very possible. Since Nibiru hasn’t been in our solar system for thousands of years, a pole shift could occur without its presence.

Some 2012 pole shift theories rely on the weakening magnetic fields of the Earth as the issue that can make this drastic change highly possible. The magnetic fields also go through fluctuations as the molten iron core of the planet seeps up through the crust. Currently there is a great deal of chaos going on in the center of the Earth. Studies being conducted are teaching scientists more about the crust’s reaction to differences in the movement that occurs at the center of the Earth. Unlike what some groups would lead you to believe; the Earth is not hollow, but filled with a solid metal core around which a turbulent ocean of molten iron flows.

It is possible that the crust of the planet could break free from moving with the molten core should something cause extreme chaos beneath the mantle. It is not known if this is what will happen if the 2012 pole shift does occur. This theory comes from many ancient texts where events prophesied to take place at the end of time could only be possible by a catastrophic shift in the Earth’s crust and ultimately the poles themselves.

One cannot say that our planet is not undergoing some dramatic and alarming changes, a great deal of which is being caused by unknown forces from beyond the ellipse of our solar system. Currently, there is an increasing pressure that is causing the land masses around the poles to become indented. This immense pressure is coming from far beyond the known regions of the universe. As a result the formation of the equator is rising and there is a great deal of concern at NASA over what this activity will do to the force of gravity on Earth. This too could cause a pole shift if the rotation of the planet reverses.

Edgar Cayce predicted a cataclysmic pole shift to be coming that would break up the North American continent and destroy the cities of New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. His vision showed him that Japan would suddenly be submerged and that coastlines would disappear from the disaster. The Bible also tells of land rising where none was before and mountains being swallowed by the Earth, an even that could be caused in a 2012 pole shift. Nostradamus also prophesied that massive catastrophes would occur at the end of times that could only be attributed to a massive polar shift.

The Hopi’s legend of Turtle Island flipping over could also only happen from the same type of planetary movement. The Olmecs told of coming from what is believed to be Atlantis and Lemuria, a land that once stood where today only ocean depths exist. Finding tropical plants and animals in the Arctic ice show that this is not just possible, but it has happened more than once in the history of our planet. These catastrophic shifts could have taken place before this current age of Earth, and could also have been what caused the Great Deluge and Noah’s Great Flood. Whether or not such an event is coming in 2012, pole shift is a real possibility that Earth is long overdue to occur.
